The Role

At Faircraft, we are seeking an Industrialization Engineer with a strong expertise in process engineering, preferably biology or chemical related processes, to join our Industrialization Team. The role will focus on developing and integrating manufacturing processes involved in the production of our lab-grown leather.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the process definition of the production of cultured leather at multiple scales. 

  • Develop the processes maps for all production process steps at multiple scales of production.

  • Implement the process maps by working with the production team.

  • Implement manufacturing and supply contracts with different raw material suppliers at different scales of production.

  • Take charge of implementing a quality management system for the production team.

  • Assist in developing transfer protocols for the production team.

  • Participate in experiments on evaluating process parameters to test the bespoke systems

  • Assist in searching and ordering critical equipment, raw materials, and reagents required for projects

Profil recherché

  • A Master’s degree or higher in the field of Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering with 3-5 years of working experience in a relevant field . 

  • Proficiency in process definition : process charts definition, manufacturing environment layout;

  • Demonstrated  knowledge of setting up process steps for transferring processes to production teams;

  • Hands on experience trouble-shooting industrial processes and setting up analytics to track manufacturing deviations;

  • Excellent verbal, written, & scientific documentation skills and demonstrated capability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
